Privacy Policy
Privacy for verified spatial video.
Last updated: August 31, 2026
Our core privacy commitments
- You own the videos, audio, captions, metadata, LiDAR/depth proof data, TrueDepth/face proof data, and other content you create or upload to Vevi.
- Vevi does not sell your videos, LiDAR/depth data, TrueDepth/face proof data, biometric data, verification metadata, account data, or private content.
- Vevi does not sell user data to data brokers, advertisers, or third parties.
- Vevi does not use TrueDepth, face-derived, or biometric data to identify you, build a facial recognition system, or train facial recognition models.
- Vevi processes uploaded proof data only to operate, secure, debug, support, improve, display, share, and verify the Vevi service.
What Vevi collects and processes
Vevi is a beta video platform for recording, uploading, sharing, and verifying video with spatial proof. Depending on how you use the service, Vevi may collect or process:
- Account information, such as email address, username, profile details, login/session information, and settings.
- User content, such as videos, audio, thumbnails, captions, comments, replies, messages, profile content, and public/private capture settings.
- Spatial proof data, including LiDAR/depth maps, depth timestamps, TrueDepth/face proof data, face mesh or face tracking data, capture mode, orientation, device/app metadata, verification manifests, signatures, and hashes.
- Usage information, such as views, likes, saves, follows, shares, watch activity, creator analytics, upload status, and platform interactions.
- Technical information, such as IP address, device type, app version, logs, diagnostics, errors, security events, and performance information.
- TestFlight or beta feedback data that you choose to submit.
Biometric, face, LiDAR, and spatial proof data
Vevi may process LiDAR/depth data and TrueDepth/face proof data to create and verify spatial proof attached to a capture. This data can be sensitive because it may describe people, faces, spaces, objects, surfaces, geometry, and movement.
Vevi does not sell biometric data. Vevi does not use TrueDepth or face-derived data to identify people, match faces, build face profiles, or provide facial recognition. Vevi uses this data to support capture verification, playback overlays, Edit Master exports, tamper checks, security, debugging, and user-requested sharing.
Because Vevi stores uploaded captures and proof payloads to provide the service, Vevi may technically process and access this data through authorized systems and limited authorized personnel when necessary to operate, secure, debug, support, enforce rules, or comply with law. Vevi does not claim that uploaded data is end-to-end encrypted unless that feature is expressly offered in the product.
How Vevi uses data
- To create, upload, store, display, share, and verify captures.
- To generate and verify Vevi Edit Master files, manifests, hashes, signatures, and proof metadata.
- To provide account, profile, feed, search, social, messaging, notification, analytics, and creator features.
- To prevent abuse, investigate security issues, moderate content, enforce policies, and protect users.
- To diagnose bugs, measure reliability, improve beta functionality, and respond to support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations and valid legal process.
Sharing and third-party processors
Vevi may use infrastructure and service providers for hosting, storage, authentication, databases, deployment, analytics, email/support, security, and app distribution. These providers process data on Vevi’s behalf so the service can function.
When you make a capture public, share a link, comment, message, or interact publicly, other users may be able to view the information you chose to share. Private captures are intended to be limited to authorized access, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and deletion
You can choose what to record, upload, publish, keep private, share, or delete where product controls are available. You can request account or content deletion by contacting support@vevi.me.
Deleted content may not disappear immediately from backups, logs, caches, or systems where retention is required for security, legal, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.
Children, safety, and sensitive content
Vevi is not intended for children under 13. Do not upload private, sensitive, intimate, illegal, or third-party content unless you have the rights and permissions needed to do so.
